About CMAT Exam


Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a business aptitude test of three hours conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The CMAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. About 70,000 candidates appear for the CMAT every year. CMAT score is accepted by about 1,300 B-schools (government and private) in India.

The CMAT 2023 analysis revealed that out of the 20 General Awareness questions, 16 were based on Static GK. 4 questions were on Current Affairs. The majority of questions were based on Indian events. Only a few questions were on international events. The questions were on  Sports, constitution, history, books and authors, physics, geography, etc. Overall, this section was of medium difficulty level.

Out of the 20 General Awareness questions, 15 were based on Static GK. 5 questions were on Current Affairs. The majority of questions were based on Indian events. Only a few questions were on international events. Out of the 20 questions, 16 were based on Business and Entrepreneurship concepts (Nascent  Entrepreneur; Phases of funding; Reasons for failure etc.). 4 questions were on Business GK. Overall, this section was of medium difficulty level.

Out of the 20 questions, 17 were based on Business and Entrepreneurship concepts. 3 questions were on Business GK. Overall, this section was of medium difficulty level.
